Ed. Note – fuel the outcry over these early Midnight Madness celebrations as a recruiting tool. Kentucky got a commitment from Top 25 player Daniel Orton after he attended the celebration on Friday night. Orton credited the fan support as a key reason for his decision. Would he have attended if UK’s Madness was on the same night as everyone else?
